Morocco’s manufacturing prices inch up in October, driven by chemicals

Producer prices in Morocco’s manufacturing sector, excluding oil refining, edged up by 0.4% in October 2025, according to the latest figures from the High Commission for Planning. This modest increase was largely driven by a 2.1% jump in chemical industry prices.

On the flip side, several segments recorded slight declines. Food processing, computer and electronic manufacturing, as well as rubber and plastic products, all saw price drops ranging between 0.1% and 0.4%.

Meanwhile, other key industries remained unchanged. No price movement was recorded in extractive industries, electricity generation and distribution, or water supply and distribution, all of which held steady over the month.
