Moroccan energy company Nareva is preparing to take a significant step forward in its environmental ventures by teaming up with two international partners to launch a new joint venture focused on waste management and renewable energy generation.
The ambitious initiative brings together Nareva Holding, Switzerland-based Kanadevia Inova AG, and UK firm I-Environment Investments Limited. The latter is backed by Japanese conglomerate Itochu Corporation, while Kanadevia Inova operates as a subsidiary of Kanadevia Corporation, another major player from Japan.
This strategic alliance underscores Nareva’s commitment to expanding its footprint in green industries. Already engaged in water, environmental services, and renewable energy, the company is now aiming to build a more structured and sustainable industrial model. By combining technical know-how with robust financial backing, the three partners hope to fast-track Morocco’s shift toward an environmentally responsible economy.
The joint venture is expected to play a key role in tackling household waste while generating clean electricity—two challenges that are central to Morocco’s ecological transition. With each partner bringing complementary strengths to the table, the collaboration reflects a growing trend of cross-border investment in sustainable infrastructure.
