Casablanca is getting ready for the third “Nostalgia Lovers” festival, happening from 18 to 20 June 2026 at the Velodrome.

The festival is all about the music of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, bringing together fans of all ages to sing along to the hits that shaped their youth.

This year, disco legend Gloria Gaynor and the iconic American R&B group Blackstreet are set to perform. Organisers say more names will be announced soon.

The Velodrome, right in Casablanca’s Anfa district, has a long history of hosting big events, making it a perfect spot for Nostalgia Lovers. By holding it in mid-June, the festival kicks off Morocco’s summer concert season and attracts visitors from near and far.

The stage, lights, and decorations are designed to give a full “throwback” experience, making fans feel like they’ve stepped back in time while still enjoying a modern festival vibe.

The festival also helps the local economy, with hotels, restaurants, and cafés getting busier, and hundreds of young people getting jobs in event setup, sound, and lighting. Organisers hope it also strengthens Casablanca’s image as a top destination for fun and music.
