At the International Agricultural Show of Meknes (SIAM), Morocco’s OCP Nutricrops announced a major partnership with ARVALIS, Intercéréales, and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P). This trilateral agreement aims to develop scientific, scalable and eco-friendly farming practices across Europe and Africa. The goal: improve soil health, reduce fertilizer emissions, and support climate-resilient agriculture through science-backed solutions.
From 2025 to 2028, the partnership will focus on real-world agronomic trials in France, the development of customized fertilization plans, and educational outreach to farmers. Grounded in the “4R” approach (right source, right rate, right time, right place), this program seeks to optimize crop nutrition, limit nutrient loss, and enhance yield quality.
This partnership embodies OCP Nutricrops’ international strategy: bridging North and South expertise to build a shared agricultural science foundation. The ultimate goal is to create a new standard of sustainable productivity—one that addresses climate risks, enhances soil health, and ensures food security for future generations.
