Orange Maroc has launched Smart Message Plus with global cloud communications company Infobip to help businesses manage customer messages from one place.
The platform brings together WhatsApp, SMS, email and social media, so companies can handle conversations across different channels without using separate tools.
Smart Message Plus is an upgraded version of Orange Maroc’s Smart Message service. It uses Infobip’s Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) technology.
Businesses can send automatic order updates, payment reminders, appointment alerts and other transactional messages. AI chatbots can answer customer questions 24 hours a day before passing more difficult requests to a human agent.
The platform also lets companies create automatic marketing campaigns based on customer actions, behaviour and audience groups.
One dashboard gives users control over all messaging channels. They can launch campaigns, monitor customer engagement in real time and create reports that can be scheduled, exported to internal systems or shared through secure links.
Infobip’s cloud infrastructure allows the platform to handle higher messaging volumes as businesses grow.
Orange Maroc built Smart Message Plus for businesses in banking, financial services, retail, e-commerce, healthcare and education.
“At Orange Maroc, our ambition is to support companies far beyond basic connectivity,” said Mohamed Bennis, B2B Sales Director at Orange Maroc. “With Smart Message Plus, enriched by Infobip’s technologies, we are evolving our communication offering to allow our clients to centralise, automate, and orchestrate their interactions across all digital channels.”
