On October 10, 2024, Porsche Maroc hosted an exclusive event at the brand-new Kyúb restaurant, located at the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca. The event gathered a select group of active and influential women from the city in a chic and welcoming atmosphere.
The luncheon was held outdoors, by the hotel’s stunning pool, in a setting that combined coastal and Latin influences in both ambiance and cuisine. The floral decor, inspired by the lavender hues of Provence, paid homage to the essence of Porsche’s new electric Macan, which was a star of the day, alongside a 718 Boxster. The invited guests had the unique opportunity to be among the first to test drive these models, perfectly tailored to the event’s sophisticated audience.
This event also marked a major milestone in the launch campaign of Porsche’s electric Macan, under the evocative slogan “Keep your essence.” The tagline, “Change your petals, not your roots,” tied into the floral theme and captured the spirit of evolution while staying true to the Porsche DNA.
In a gesture celebrating female creativity, Porsche Maroc partnered with local entrepreneurs, including Noémie Creations for a collaborative jewelry piece with artist Anbar Al Mokri. The floral décor was further elevated by Nude, a floral atelier that crafted exquisite arrangements. These collaborations underscored the feminine energy of the event and highlighted Moroccan creativity at its finest.
Guests engaged in lively discussions while exploring the latest offerings from Porsche, all in an environment designed for connection and discovery. This moment perfectly encapsulated the harmony between the timeless elegance of Porsche’s models and the dynamic, forward-thinking spirit of the women in attendance.
A new standard: The all-electric Macan
Porsche’s all-electric Macan is not just a new model; it sets a benchmark as the brand’s first fully electric SUV. While the design is fresh and innovative, the Macan remains unmistakably a Porsche—an electric vehicle that still drives like a true sports car. The Macan’s iconic proportions are preserved, with refined exterior and interior details that give it an even sportier, more dynamic look.
The electric Macan is available in four variants: Macan 2, Macan 4, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo. At the top of the range, the Macan Turbo Electric delivers an impressive 470 kW (639 hp) and 1,130 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 260 km/h. With a range of up to 641 km, this high-performance SUV is as practical as it is powerful, boasting over 1,400 liters of storage and a towing capacity of 2,000 kg.
The entire Macan range is now available at Porsche dealerships in Casablanca, Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir, ushering in a new era of performance and sustainability for Moroccan Porsche enthusiasts.
