The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam is offering a special set of events and dining experiences for Ramadan 2026, turning the hotel into a calm and festive place for the holy month.

The programme is called “Rihla” and is inspired by the travels of 14th-century explorer Ibn Battuta. It mixes traditional Moroccan hospitality with food and art from the many places he visited.

At the heart of the celebrations is the hotel’s main restaurant, Rihla. It will serve a special Iftar menu that takes guests on a journey through Morocco, Persia, Turkey, Lebanon and Asia. Diners will eat under grand arches while listening to live traditional music. The meal costs 750 dirhams per person.

The Lumen restaurant will also offer a buffet with Mediterranean and Moroccan dishes. The lights are set to change as the sun goes down. This buffet costs 695 dirhams per person.

After Iftar, the Lobby Lounge will host “Les Heures en Velours” (Velvet Hours), offering desserts by pastry chef Vincent Denis. One highlight is a modern version of basboussa made with spiced milk and milk jam. A shared dessert plate for two is 1,400 dirhams.

Guests can also enjoy an art exhibition called “Sur la Route des Rêves” by digital artist Monsieur G. The works, which use AI to reimagine Ibn Battuta’s travels, are displayed along the corridors leading to the Rihla restaurant and the Blind Tiger bar.

For those who want to focus on wellness, the hotel is offering “Pilates at Twilight” sessions with instructor Leyna Zniber. Classes take place outdoors at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, surrounded by a 440-acre oak forest. A package with the Pilates session and a “Healthy Iftar” at Lumen costs 1,050 dirhams per person.

The Ritz-Carlton Rabat, Dar Es Salam is the brand’s first hotel in Morocco. It has 117 rooms and suites blending Art Deco style with Moroccan craft, plus access to the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam and a spa with a traditional hammam.

Reservations for dining and wellness events are now open.
