Renault plans 12 new European models as part of ‘futuREady’ strategy

Renault has announced a new strategy called “futuREady” aimed at growing its global sales and speeding up its move towards electric and hybrid cars.

Renault has announced a new strategy called “futuREady” aimed at growing its global sales and speeding up its move towards electric and hybrid cars.

The French carmaker said it wants to sell more than two million vehicles a year by 2030.

The plan focuses on expanding Renault’s range of cars, strengthening its position in Europe and increasing sales in markets outside the region.

Renault said it will launch 12 new models in Europe before 2030 as it works to offer a wider choice of vehicles.

The company will continue to focus on small and medium-sized cars, which have long been an important part of its business, while also increasing its presence in larger vehicle segments.

A major part of the plan is to speed up the shift to electric and hybrid vehicles. Renault said it will expand the use of its E-Tech hybrid technology and develop a new generation of electric cars based on the RGEV medium 2.0 platform.

The company said this new platform should provide longer driving range, better energy use and faster charging.

Renault also plans to introduce a new generation of fully electric vans with advanced digital features.

By 2030, the company expects all of its car sales in Europe to be electric or hybrid.

Renault also showed a concept model called the R-Space Lab, which gives an idea of how car interiors could look in the future.

The design includes adjustable seating layouts and built-in digital systems, including artificial intelligence aimed at improving comfort and safety.

The company said future vehicles will rely more on software and connected services, with updates that can be sent directly to the car.

Renault said growing sales outside Europe will also be an important part of the strategy.

The company plans to launch 14 new models in international markets before 2030.

Production will rely on Renault factories in Morocco, Turkey, Latin America, South Korea and India.

Plants in Tangier and Casablanca in Morocco are expected to play an important role in supplying export markets. The company said these factories could also produce more advanced hybrid vehicles in the future.

Renault also introduced the Bridger Concept, a compact sport utility vehicle designed mainly for emerging markets.

The model uses a multi-energy system, meaning it can use different types of power depending on what infrastructure is available in each country.

Renault said the production version will be built in India, with the first models expected to reach markets in 2027.

The plan comes as carmakers face increasing competition in the global electric vehicle market.

Renault said it is aiming to cut production costs by up to 40% for its next generation of electric vehicles, mainly by using shared parts and simpler development processes.

The company also expects markets outside Europe to account for about half of its global sales by 2030.
