The creation of the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce in Italy (CCMI) is now official. The formal launch will take place on November 19 in Rome, during a ceremony hosted at the Italian Senate, specifically in the “Caduti di Nassirya” room of Palazzo Madama.

Scheduled from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., the event will be followed by an economic summit at Palazzo Santa Chiara, where institutional leaders, diplomats, and business representatives from both Morocco and Italy are expected to gather. This initiative signals a major step forward in deepening economic ties between the two nations.

Marouan El Mansoub, who will lead the new chamber, described the CCMI as a strategic hub designed to support entrepreneurs on both sides of the Mediterranean. He emphasized that the chamber’s mission is to ease trade flows, encourage investments, and guide businesses in key growth sectors such as industry, tourism, renewable energy, innovation, and agribusiness.

By formalizing its establishment, the CCMI aims to become a practical and effective tool for bilateral economic cooperation. With a focus on proximity, pragmatism, and measurable impact, the chamber sets out to be a driving force for joint ventures and long-term partnerships between Morocco and Italy.
