Royal Air Maroc has announced the suspension of all flights between Morocco and Brussels on October 14 due to a planned general strike in the Belgian capital. The airline said the industrial action is expected to significantly disrupt operations at Brussels Airport, making it impossible to maintain scheduled services on that day.
Passengers affected by the cancellations will have several options. Those who wish to reschedule can rebook their flights at no additional cost—subject to seat availability—on October 15, 16, or 17. Alternatively, travelers can opt to fly from or to Paris-Orly on those same dates. In that case, the airline will cover any fare difference, although passengers will still be responsible for paying airport taxes.
For those who prefer not to travel at all, Royal Air Maroc is offering full refunds, issued through the original method of payment. The airline strongly advises customers not to go to Brussels Airport on October 14 and instead encourages them to get in touch with their travel agency or the airline’s call center to arrange a new flight or request a refund.
