Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has expanded its international network with the launch of a new direct flight route linking Casablanca to Beijing. The inaugural flight took off from Mohammed V Airport on Monday at 4:20 PM local time, marking a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Morocco and China.

This new route will operate three times a week using the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which offers a seating capacity of 302 passengers, including 26 seats in Business Class. According to a statement from RAM, flights will depart from Casablanca every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday at 4:20 PM, landing at Beijing International Airport the following day at 11:55 AM local time. Return flights from Beijing are scheduled for Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 1:55 PM, arriving in Casablanca at 8:10 PM local time.

The relaunch of this direct air link between Morocco and China is expected to boost Moroccan tourism while enhancing economic and trade relations between the two countries. The route presents a strategic opportunity for both business and leisure travelers, facilitating easier access and fostering closer ties in key sectors such as commerce, investment, and cultural exchange.

This new connection is part of Royal Air Maroc’s broader expansion strategy under the development plan signed with the Moroccan government in July 2023. It follows the airline’s recent launch of other international routes, including direct flights to Toronto and São Paulo, reflecting its commitment to strengthening Morocco’s global connectivity.

With this direct link, Royal Air Maroc aims to meet the growing demand for travel between the two nations while offering passengers a seamless and comfortable flying experience.
