Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has expanded its fleet with the arrival of its 10th Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which landed at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca on Sunday, November 24. The aircraft was greeted with the traditional “Water Salute” at 10:20 AM, marking another milestone for the Moroccan national carrier.
This latest addition boosts RAM’s fleet of long-haul aircraft from nine to ten, as confirmed in the company’s statement. The delivery also signals the launch of a broader development plan underpinned by a program agreement signed with the Moroccan government in July 2023. RAM has announced that an 11th Dreamliner is expected to join the fleet before the end of the year, further enhancing its capabilities.
With these new aircraft, Royal Air Maroc plans to introduce direct flights to exciting destinations, including São Paulo, Toronto, and Beijing. These additions underscore RAM’s commitment to extending its global reach and solidifying its position as a leading airline in the region.
The Dreamliner, known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, will play a crucial role in facilitating these new routes and delivering world-class service to its growing customer base.
