Seven vessels will be deployed this summer to maintain a steady flow of crossings across the Strait of Gibraltar, with departures scheduled roughly every hour. This large-scale operation, led by AML, will cover nearly a third of the expected capacity on the route, a major logistical push designed to meet the surge in demand during the peak travel months of July and August.
AML is counting on sustained growth. In 2024, the company transported one million passengers and completed 8,000 crossings. Looking ahead, it aims to raise those figures to 1.2 million passengers and over 9,000 sailings in 2025. Its stated goal is clear: to cement its position as a key player in maritime transport between Morocco and Europe, with a particular focus on serving the Moroccan diaspora.
To ensure smooth and efficient crossings, AML is banking on the reliability of its fleet and improvements in onboard services. Passengers can expect Moroccan-inspired dining options, enhanced comfort, punctual departures, and pricing designed to appeal to families, tourists, and commercial transporters alike.
As the only Moroccan shipping company operating in the Strait of Gibraltar, AML plans to leverage this unique position to expand its network and further strengthen both human and economic ties between the two shores.
