Stellantis Maroc and Attawfiq Microfinance have signed a deal in Casablanca to help small business owners buy electric three-wheel vehicles across Morocco.
The agreement will help micro-entrepreneurs and very small businesses get loans to buy the FIAT TRIS, a fully electric three-wheeler made for work. The goal is to make electric transport easier to afford for people working in delivery, light transport and local services.

The plan is based on small loans designed to match the needs of people on the ground. It aims to help business owners buy a vehicle without paying a large amount of money upfront.
Attawfiq Microfinance, part of BCP Group, will use its wide network of branches to offer the loans. It has more than 480 offices across the country, in big cities and rural areas. The partners say this will help people who do not usually deal with banks to get access to funding.
The FIAT TRIS is a small electric vehicle built within Stellantis’ industrial network. It is made for short city trips and last-mile delivery. It runs only on electricity and does not produce exhaust fumes.
The two companies say the project will help small businesses grow while also supporting cleaner transport. Stellantis Maroc says it brings together new technology and social impact. Attawfiq Microfinance says the deal fits with its work to support small business owners and people starting projects.
