Talent and innovation: Mundiapolis Recruitment Forum tackles the AI revolution

Mundiapolis University has successfully concluded the 14th edition of its Recruitment Forum, an event that brought together students, recent graduates, and leading companies under the theme “The Evolution of the Job Market in the Age of Artificial Intelligence”. Organized by the university’s Career Center, the day highlighted both the opportunities and challenges emerging from new technologies in the professional world.

Pr. Abdelmounim Belalia, Director General of Mundiapolis, underscored the significance of the event, stating that this forum reflects the university’s commitment to innovation, academic excellence, and economic integration on national and international levels. For him, the event serves as both a showcase of student talent and a platform for creating meaningful synergies between graduates and the business world. He expressed confidence that such initiatives play a crucial role in shaping a new generation of leaders, capable of transforming challenges into tangible opportunities.

This year’s forum tackled the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on the job market, a topic that continues to redefine employability standards. The event sparked thought-provoking discussions on how Moroccan businesses are adapting to the rapid technological changes and what skills young professionals need to thrive in a market that is constantly shifting. These exchanges provided valuable insights into the future of work, offering guidance for integrating technological trends into both academic curriculums and career development strategies.

Hanane El Jaffali, Director of the Career Center, emphasized that artificial intelligence represents more than just a transformative tool; it is a chance to reshape the way careers are envisioned. She stressed that Mundiapolis University’s mission is to prepare its students to master these advancements, equipping them to anticipate market demands and drive corporate growth as proactive changemakers.

The forum also featured a keynote address from Moncef Belkhayat, President of H&S Invest Holding, who delivered a compelling analysis of the transformative power of artificial intelligence. In his speech, he highlighted that AI does not simply redefine professions but disrupts entire economic models. He further noted that organizations today derive their true value from the talent they attract and develop. For him, the forum perfectly embodies this philosophy, offering businesses an opportunity to connect with young, exceptionally skilled professionals ready to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.

Among the highlights of the day was the 6th edition of Job Dating, an innovative recruitment format designed specifically for students at the final stage of their academic journey. This dynamic initiative gave thirty pre-selected students the chance to pitch their career projects in two minutes before a panel of human resources directors from diverse industries. The format, praised by both participants and recruiters, provided these young talents with a unique opportunity to establish direct connections with top-tier companies.

The event also saw the signing of several strategic partnerships between Mundiapolis University and key corporate players. These agreements are aimed at strengthening ties between academia and the private sector while boosting employment and internship opportunities for students.

With more than 500 students and recent graduates in attendance, this 14th edition demonstrated its growing relevance as a key initiative to bridge the gap between employer expectations and emerging talent. The forum fits seamlessly into Mundiapolis University’s broader employability program, which has been supporting students for years in their transition to the job market. Through workshops and dedicated seminars, the university works to prepare its students from the earliest stages of their academic journey. The Career Center, at the heart of these efforts, facilitates direct interaction between students and major players across industries such as banking, finance, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, and services.

By maintaining this forward-thinking momentum, Mundiapolis University reaffirms its dedication to nurturing talent, forging strategic partnerships, and continuously adapting its programs to meet the evolving demands of today’s dynamic job market.
