CIH Bank has launched two travel assistance packages for people travelling in Europe, Morocco and other countries. The services cover medical emergencies, roadside problems, legal support and other travel issues. Customers who sign up this summer also get a 50% discount and a free eSIM.
CIH Safar Europe is for people travelling to the Schengen Area. The package includes the travel insurance certificate needed for a Schengen visa application.
The insurance meets Schengen rules, including a minimum of €30,000 (about 320,000 MAD) in medical cover. It covers emergency treatment, hospital stays, prescription medicine and medical repatriation if a traveller needs to return to Morocco for treatment.
Drivers taking their own cars to Europe can also get roadside assistance. The package covers repairs at the roadside, towing to the nearest authorised garage, transport of the vehicle back to Morocco if needed, and alternative transport or accommodation while repairs are carried out.
CIH Secours Monde is aimed at families travelling in Morocco or abroad.
The service runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It provides medical assistance for illness, injuries and hospital stays. It also covers medical transport and the repatriation of mortal remains if someone dies abroad.
The package also includes technical assistance for lost or stolen luggage and travel documents. Travellers can receive emergency funds or help with travel arrangements if they become stranded.
Legal support is also included. Customers can get legal advice, contact with local lawyers, and advances for legal fees or bail when needed.
