Two Moroccan startups join Visa’s Africa Fintech Accelerator program

Hsabati and Woliz, two Casablanca-based startups, have been chosen to represent Morocco in the fourth edition of the Visa Africa Fintech Accelerator program. They join a select group of companies across the continent that will benefit from a three-month program aimed at boosting their technological capabilities and commercial reach.

Run by U.S. payments giant Visa, the initiative offers tailored mentorship, access to advanced digital tools, networking opportunities, and support in securing investment. It is part of Visa’s broader pledge to invest $1 billion in Africa by 2027 to drive innovation and expand financial inclusion.

Woliz, co-founded by Kamal El Hardouzi and Ismail Amri, focuses on digitizing “nanostores” — small neighborhood shops that remain central to local economies. Using artificial intelligence, the company streamlines store management and provides digital services, including payment solutions.

Hsabati, founded by Saad Kemmou, has developed an all-in-one business management platform that covers lead generation, inventory tracking, and invoicing. The software is designed to simplify operations for small businesses and boost their efficiency.
