The 2021 edition of the Visa for Movie Rabat Festival, initially scheduled for August 4-8, has been postponed to a later date, organizers announced on Tuesday.
“Faced with the pandemic situation linked to COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure, we have decided in collaboration with the Wilaya of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region to postpone the 2021 edition of the Visa for Movie festival to a later date”, says the Association of the International Festival of Author’s Cinema in Rabat in a press release.
“The health of the public is our only priority. It is obviously a difficult decision to make, but the conditions are not appropriate currently to hold this event,” the source explains.
