The Embassy of Morocco in Azerbaijan has officially announced that starting August 28, a new visa exemption agreement will take effect, allowing citizens of both countries to travel without a visa. Azerbaijani nationals will be able to visit Morocco for up to 90 days without a visa, provided their passports are valid for at least 180 days from the date of entry, according to a statement from the Moroccan diplomatic mission in Baku.
Similarly, Moroccan citizens will enjoy the same visa-free privileges when traveling to Azerbaijan.
This agreement is expected to significantly enhance tourism and commercial exchanges between the two nations. The introduction of the visa exemption coincides with the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Rabat and Baku, marking a milestone in the growing partnership between the countries.
The implementation of this visa waiver reflects the mutual commitment to strengthening the fraternal bonds that unite Morocco and Azerbaijan, underscoring a shared vision for deeper bilateral cooperation.
