Following the success of its previous editions in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) and Douala (Cameroon), Wafa Connect held its third event on Friday in Dakar, Senegal. Organized by Wafa Assurance Group, this gathering has become a key event in the African insurance industry, marking another milestone in the company’s journey.

Led by Boubker Jaï, CEO of Wafa Assurance Group, the Dakar edition brought together prominent figures from the insurance, finance, and business sectors across Africa. The goal was to foster collaboration, share innovative ideas, and strengthen partnerships in a professional and friendly setting, according to a press release from Wafa Assurance Group.

“The choice of Dakar for this third edition reflects Wafa Assurance Group’s commitment to the Senegalese market, where we have been established since 2015 through our subsidiaries Wafa Assurance Vie Sénégal and Wafa Assurance Non-Vie Sénégal. Today, we are a trusted partner to Africa, fully committed to the continent’s economy and the communities shaping it,” Boubker Jaï highlighted during the event.

Managed by Hassan Chakib and Ibra Kane, Wafa Assurance’s Senegalese branches offer a wide range of insurance products, addressing the diverse needs of individuals and businesses throughout the country.
