According to the DGM’s orange-level alert bulletin, a heatwave is expected to hit various provinces across Morocco from Saturday to Monday, with temperatures ranging between 37 and 42°C, announced the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) on Thursday.

Temperatures will vary between 37 and 42°C from Saturday to Monday in the provinces of Béni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Khénifra, Settat, Rehamna, Youssoufia, and Chichaoua.

The heatwave will also affect the provinces of El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Marrakech, Moulay Yaâcoub, Fès, Meknès, Taounate, Sidi Slimane, Khemisset, Sidi Kacem, Errachidia, Zagoura, Tinghir, Tata, and Aousserd.
