Moroccan Pink Floyd show returns with choir and new artistic vision

On June 28, the Marrakech Congress Palace will once again host the Moroccan Pink Floyd Show, a bold reimagining of the legendary British band’s music, conceived by artistic duo Faïçal Tadlaoui and Yonel Lalouz. More than just a tribute concert, the production embraces a thoroughly modern take on Pink Floyd’s timeless repertoire, blending musical homage with immersive, contemporary art.

Since its early performances, the show has drawn a wide-ranging audience—from psychedelic rock purists to fans of cutting-edge visual performance. This year’s edition marks a major evolution: for the first time in Morocco, the production will feature a full choir. Under the direction of maestro Amine Hadaf, the Moroccan Chamber Choir will bring an entirely new vocal depth to the project, enriching its emotional and sonic landscape.

Also joining the cast is renowned Moroccan singer Ahmed Soultan, whose eclectic style will add yet another layer of texture to a show that thrives on crossing genres and opening up new creative paths. His presence reflects the show’s ambition to push boundaries and rethink how classic rock can resonate in a contemporary, cross-cultural setting.

Built like a true artistic residency, the Moroccan Pink Floyd Show is notable for its high production standards and technical precision. Longtime partner Touareg Prod is once again in charge of staging the event, overseeing a complex visual and audio setup that blends sound, lighting, and video into a meticulously choreographed, multisensory experience.

In this 2025 edition, Tadlaoui and Lalouz continue to explore the boundaries between rock heritage and modern artistic expression. Marrakech becomes the lab for this creative experiment, a place where Pink Floyd’s iconic soundscapes are transformed into a 21st-century artistic statement. More than a nostalgic journey, the show is a bold, living tribute that bridges eras and genres.
