Carrefour-LabelVie has unveiled a completely redesigned version of its Sidi Maarouf hypermarket in Casablanca, turning one of its flagship stores into a next-generation retail experience. After months of renovations, the store has emerged with a bold new layout, expanded services, and a product selection that reflects both culinary tradition and modern consumer demands.

The overhaul focused on making the customer journey smoother and more enjoyable from the moment shoppers walk through the door. A more open floor plan and redesigned signage make it easier to navigate, while a broader range of in-store services has been added. Shoppers can now access a beauty and wellness section, a florist, a photo center, and even take advantage of free home delivery and online ordering.

Inside, every department has been reimagined. The food section, in particular, has been transformed to highlight freshness, variety, and an immersive culinary experience. The deli area now features open kitchens serving up a mix of international flavors—from Moroccan grills to Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. There’s a station for handcrafted chocolates, a global-style pastry counter, traditional sourdough bread baked on-site, an oyster bar, and a much larger fish market.

A new market-inspired area brings the charm of Moroccan souks into the modern retail space, while the cheese and charcuterie sections have been significantly expanded. There’s also a stronger focus on health-conscious options and a more visible selection of international products.

Beyond food, the hypermarket now includes a home section under the Kasa brand and a dedicated kids’ area designed to meet the needs of families at every stage of a child’s development.

With this ambitious relaunch, Carrefour-LabelVie is aiming to set a new benchmark for modern retail in Morocco.
