Ticket sales for 2025 Africa Cup of Nations kick off October 13

Ticket sales for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will officially open on Monday, October 13—but not everyone will have immediate access. In the first phase, only Visa cardholders will be able to purchase tickets through the official platform. This exclusive presale begins at 9 a.m. local time in Morocco (8 a.m. GMT) and will run until Wednesday, October 15, ending at the same time.

Once that window closes, general ticket sales will begin, opening up to all fans regardless of payment method. However, access to the ticketing platform comes with one major condition: every supporter must first obtain a Fan ID. This digital ID is required to purchase tickets and is generated through the Yalla app, a new platform that also handles electronic visa applications for international visitors heading to Morocco.

Each Fan ID is personal and non-transferable, and it entitles the holder to purchase one ticket per match. Tickets will only be available on tickets.cafonline.com, the Confederation of African Football’s sole official ticketing site. Any other outlets or websites are not authorized to sell tickets for the tournament.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco, running from December 21, 2025, through January 18, 2026, promising a month of high-stakes football and intense regional rivalry.
