Emirates will add a second daily flight to Tokyo Narita from 1 May 2026. The move will increase travel options between Morocco and Japan through Dubai.
The airline said demand is rising from both business and leisure travellers. Trade and travel between the two countries have grown in recent years. Morocco has become an important base for Japanese companies in North Africa, mainly in cars and technology.
The extra flight will give passengers more choice. It will arrive in Tokyo early in the afternoon, making it easier to connect to other cities in Japan, such as Sapporo and Fukuoka. On the return trip, an early arrival in Dubai will make onward travel to Casablanca easier.
Emirates will use a renewed Boeing 777-300ER. The plane includes a Premium Economy cabin, offering more comfort than economy at a lower cost than business class.
Emirates said the added flight will also increase cargo space to about 1,240 tonnes a week. This will help the flow of goods between Morocco and Japan, including Moroccan exports and Japanese technology parts.
