BANK OF AFRICA announces loan repayment freeze

BANK OF AFRICA has introduced a temporary loan repayment freeze for customers at its branches in Ksar El Kebir.

Eligible clients can defer instalments for between three and six months, depending on their circumstances. The bank said the measure will be applied free of charge.

The scheme covers consumer loans, home loans and financing under the INTELAK programme.

The lender said the initiative is part of its solidarity policy and aims to ease financial pressure on households and small businesses in the area.

Entrepreneurs supported through INTELAK are included in the measure. The bank said the deferral will help business owners preserve cash flow, cover running costs, and avoid late payment penalties.

BANK OF AFRICA said the move reflects its commitment to supporting local communities and strengthening financial inclusion.
