Saham Bank has introduced new monthly banking packages to make day-to-day banking easier and more flexible for customers.
The cheapest plan, called “Start,” costs 35 MAD a month and includes card renewals, 24/7 customer support, and a digital banking app for handling transactions remotely. Customers can also upgrade to “Dynamic” or “Signature” plans for extra services.
All packages offer unlimited bank transfers, including instant transfers, and free withdrawals from other banks’ ATMs. By charging a flat monthly fee, the bank removes extra charges that often put people off using digital services.
The move comes after the Saham Group, led by Moulay Hafid Elalamy, bought a majority stake in Crédit Agricole’s Moroccan operations.
Saham Bank says the new packages are part of a bigger plan to modernise services, simplify procedures and give customers more choice. The bank also faces the challenge of convincing traditional customers to move from paying per transaction to a subscription model, which relies on the app working smoothly and quick customer support.
The packages are especially aimed at younger customers, low-cost banking users, and anyone who wants fast, simple digital banking
