The Medi-Spa at the Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay has been named the world’s best medical spa at the 2026 Spa Awards.
The ceremony took place on 26 March. David Lestelle collected the award on behalf of the resort. The prize recognises the spa’s work in preventive health and overall wellbeing.
The Medi-Spa sits between the Rif mountains and the Mediterranean coast. It covers 4,300 square metres and is the largest spa of its kind in Africa. It is also the first semi-medical spa in Morocco.
Dominique Di Daniel said the award confirms the team’s work in caring for guests’ physical and mental health. The spa is inspired by “Blue Zones”, parts of the world where people live longer.
The centre brings together medical treatments, beauty services and traditional therapies. Guests can get health checks, personalised nutrition and fitness plans, and Moroccan wellness treatments. The resort opened in July 2024.
The awards are organised by AD Alliance and have run every year since 1996. They recognise innovation, quality service and environmental efforts in the global wellness industry.
