Football fans in Morocco will soon have a simpler way to watch live matches after telecom operator inwi teamed up with streaming platform TOD. The partnership lets inwi customers subscribe to TOD through their mobile or home internet plans, making premium sports and entertainment content easier to access.
TOD subscriptions will be available with inwi’s prepaid, postpaid and home internet offers.
Postpaid customers can pay through their monthly inwi bill, while prepaid users can use their mobile credit or recharge balance through the dedicated *9 code. The companies say the system is designed to make subscriptions easier for people who do not have bank cards.
The partnership includes several viewing passes for the 2026 World Cup on the TOD app.
A mobile pass for Morocco’s national team costs 69 dirhams. A multi-screen pass, which can be used on smart TVs and larger screens, costs 179 dirhams. A knockout stage pass covering the tournament costs 429 dirhams.
TOD, which launched in 2022, streams live sports and entertainment in 4K with content available in several languages and family-friendly features.
Peter Mrkic, Managing Director of TOD, said Morocco was an obvious choice for the partnership.
“Morocco is moving at an impressive pace. The country is investing, building and setting new regional benchmarks. At TOD, we want to be part of this momentum. Morocco has some of the most passionate football fans in the world. Our partnership with inwi supports that mission. Together, we understand the Moroccan fan.”
Azdine El Mountassir Billah, Chief Executive Officer of inwi, said the partnership supports the company’s goal of making premium digital content available to more people.
“This partnership with TOD is fully in line with inwi’s vision of supporting the development of sport and entertainment in Morocco while giving our customers greater access to high-quality premium content. We are reaffirming our role as a committed national telecom operator, providing innovative and inclusive solutions that meet the digital needs of Moroccans.”
The deal also expands inwi’s entertainment offering. The company already works with streaming services including MBC Shahid, OSN+, Spotify, Anghami Plus and Viu Premium.
