Stellantis sold more vehicles in the second quarter of 2026 as demand picked up in North America and Europe. The company delivered about 1.6 million vehicles between April and June, up 10% from the same period last year.
The carmaker said strong sales in North America and Europe made up for weaker demand in the Middle East, Africa and South America.
North America had the biggest increase. Deliveries rose by 122,000 vehicles, or 38%, compared with a year earlier.
The company said the growth came from new and updated models, including the Ram 1500 HEMI V8, Ram 1500 TRX SRT, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Pacifica. Sales of the Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Charger SIXPACK also increased.
Ram sold nearly 100,000 pickup trucks in the United States during the quarter. Retail sales of the Ram 1500 rose 9% after Stellantis brought back the HEMI V8 engine.
The Chrysler Pacifica had its best quarter since late 2023. Sales jumped 81% to more than 41,000 vehicles.
Sales of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer rose 43%, while more than 48,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs were delivered. Dodge Charger sales increased 33%, helped by demand for the new SIXPACK models. The Dodge Durango also recorded its best second quarter sales since 2021.
In Europe, Stellantis deliveries increased 5%, adding about 39,000 vehicles.
The company said affordable electric and hybrid models helped drive growth. These included the Citroën C3, Citroën C3 Aircross, Fiat Grande Panda and Opel/Vauxhall Frontera.
Stellantis also sold about 33,000 Leapmotor T03 and B10 electric vehicles in Europe through its partnership with Chinese carmaker Leapmotor.
Sales in the Middle East and Africa fell by around 4,000 vehicles.
The company said higher sales in Algeria, driven by the Fiat Doblò, and a smaller increase in Morocco could not make up for a sharp drop in Turkey and Gulf countries, where deliveries were cut by about half.
In South America, deliveries fell 3%, even though sales in Brazil increased by 21,000 vehicles.
