Marrakech will host the second Magic Garden Festival from 20 July to 20 August at the Palais des Congrès. The indoor light festival will open every evening from 7:00 pm. It is organised by Public Events and comes after the first edition was held at Casablanca’s Vélodrome d’Anfa earlier this year.
Visitors will walk through the exhibition at their own pace. The route starts with a large entrance arch covered in glowing flowers and butterflies, with two illuminated owl sculptures on each side.
Inside, the exhibition features crystal-themed walkways, giant mushroom displays and hanging gardens with glowing lotus flowers, lilies and water lilies.
More than 100 handcrafted light sculptures made from silk and wire will be on display. They include a golden peacock, deer with star-shaped antlers, foxes and caterpillars placed throughout a forest-themed setting.
“You don’t just walk through the Magic Garden. You enter it like a dream,” the organisers said.
The exhibition is fully indoors, offering visitors a break from Marrakech’s summer heat. It is open to people of all ages.
Tickets are available online through Guichet.ma.
