OCP Africa, a subsidiary of the Moroccan phosphate giant OCP, continues its commitment to enhancing African agriculture by expanding its operations in Côte d’Ivoire.

Building on the success of its first Agricultural Services Center (CSA) in Korhogo, OCP Africa has partnered with AGRIMOTORS S.A., a subsidiary of the Ivorian group PC Plus Group Holding SA, to create a significant new agricultural hub in Duékoué. This ambitious project will feature a central hub and ten satellite centers throughout the region, providing farmers with easy access to a comprehensive range of agricultural services and products. These include tailored fertilizers, high-quality seeds, personalized agronomic advice, and practical training sessions. The initiative aims to boost agricultural productivity, improve farmers’ incomes, and promote sustainable agricultural development in Côte d’Ivoire.

“The CSA aims to provide local producers with easy access to agricultural inputs, with a storage capacity of 5,000 tons,” said OCP Africa. The facility will also offer mechanization services, a soil analysis laboratory, a training center for farmers, and numerous demonstration plots.

“By involving local community members in the operation of the 10 satellites during the first phase, we aim to overcome the last-mile challenge, making products and services easily accessible to farmers in remote areas,” emphasized OCP Africa.
