United Airlines is set to launch a new direct flight route between New York (Newark) and Marrakech starting October 31, 2024. This seasonal service will operate three times a week—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—using a Boeing 767-300 with a seating capacity of 167 across three classes: Polaris, Premium Plus Business, and Premium Economy.

To support this new route, United Airlines is establishing a branch office in Casablanca. This office will handle ticket sales and will be managed by Anshul Jain, an Indian finance manager for United Airlines responsible for operations in both India and Africa.

This new route enhances the air connectivity between the United States and Morocco, positioning United Airlines as the only American carrier offering direct flights to North Africa. Although the service is currently seasonal, there is potential for it to become a year-round operation if demand warrants it.

With this new direct connection, United Airlines not only expands its network but also offers travelers a convenient and efficient way to explore the rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes of Marrakech.
