The Board of Directors of AtlantaSanad met on Monday, September 23, 2024, under the chairmanship of Mohamed Hassan Bensalah, to review the company’s activities and approve its semi-annual financial statements.
As of June 30, 2024, AtlantaSanad’s revenue reached 3.096 billion dirhams, reflecting a modest increase of +0.3% compared to June 2023. This growth was driven primarily by the life insurance segment, which saw revenue climb by +10.3% to 669 million dirhams, thanks to strong sales of savings products.
In contrast, the non-life insurance segment reported a decline of -2.1%, with revenue totaling 2.427 billion dirhams. This decrease was attributed to the company’s decision to clean up its portfolio in 2023, prioritizing technical profitability by discontinuing less profitable policies.
AtlantaSanad’s net profit improved by +4.3%, reaching 261 million dirhams at the end of June 2024, compared to 250 million dirhams in the same period of 2023. This increase was driven by the company’s strategic efforts to enhance both technical and financial profitability.
The consolidated net profit also rose by +2.0%, reaching 250 million dirhams.
