Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products (ECP) Maroc has appointed Imane Zaoui as its new CEO at a pivotal moment in the company’s expansion. This strategic move follows ECP’s acquisition of Jeesr Industries, a leading player in the Moroccan tissue paper market, aimed at strengthening the company’s long-term vision, enhancing vertical integration, and boosting its regional presence, according to an official statement from ECP.

Who is Imane Zaoui?

A graduate of ISCAE, Zaoui brings with her over 17 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Prior to this role, she served as General Manager at Nestlé Maroc, a position that established her as a key figure in the industry. Her solid background in developing commercial strategies, coupled with her expertise in managing key customer relations, makes her well-suited to lead ECP Maroc and integrate Jeesr Industries into the company’s operations.

Under Zaoui’s leadership, ECP Maroc is set to enhance its production capacity, improve operational efficiency, and continue expanding its portfolio of well-known brands, which include Selpak, Dalaa by Wooly, Pandoo, and Sany. The company’s vision revolves around innovation, with an ambition to establish itself as a major player in the hygiene products sector.

ECP, a leading Turkish group in hygiene products, entered the Moroccan market in 2015 and has since steadily increased its investments. This latest leadership appointment highlights ECP’s commitment to becoming a key player in the North African consumer goods market.
