Renault Group Maroc has reinforced its leadership team with two strategic appointments. Effective November 1, 2024, Zineb El Jazouli takes on the role of Public Affairs Director, while Imane Rekaibi steps in as Director of Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). These key positions signal Renault’s commitment to advancing its influence and responsibility in Morocco.
Zineb El Jazouli now serves as Public Affairs Director for Renault Group Maroc, reporting directly to Mohamed Bachiri, General Manager of Renault Group Maroc and Coordinator of the Moroccan Industrial Division, and functionally to Bruno Vincent, Public Affairs Director at Renault Group. A graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, El Jazouli began her journey with Renault Commerce Maroc in 2006 as a Communications Officer. Her ascent was swift: by 2008, she became Head of Communication for Renault Commerce Maroc and joined its executive committee. In 2011, she further advanced to Department Head of Communication and Advertising.
Seeking operational experience in automotive sales, El Jazouli transitioned to Marketing in 2015, taking on Product Management for the Renault “I” series. By March 2016, she assumed dual responsibilities as Director of Communication and CSR, which eventually led to her leadership of the Renault Maroc Foundation at its inception in 2018.
Joining Renault Group Maroc as Director of Communication and CSR, Imane Rekaibi succeeds El Jazouli in this influential position. She reports directly to Christian Stein, Chief Communications Officer at Renault Group, and functionally to Mohamed Bachiri. Rekaibi’s academic background includes a Master’s in Corporate Communication from the École Hassania des Travaux Publics (2009) and a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Al Akhawayn University (2001). Her career began in the food industry with Nestlé, managing the Nesquik brand, before moving into textile brand management with Coast Maroc.
In 2006, Rekaibi entered the telecommunications sector, managing corporate branding for Méditel. She joined Renault Group Maroc in 2017 as CSR Manager, later advancing to Institutional Communications & CSR Manager and taking on the role of Secretary General of the Renault Maroc Foundation in 2021.
These appointments reflect Renault Group Maroc’s commitment to reinforcing its public presence and corporate responsibility initiatives, with El Jazouli and Rekaibi set to shape the brand’s impact in Morocco and beyond.
