In a groundbreaking alliance, Morocco’s healthcare landscape is set to transform as leading private healthcare provider AKDITAL partners with global 3D design software giant Dassault Systèmes and the esteemed Long Island University (LIU) from the United States. The goal of this collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding, is to reshape patient care in Morocco with a new focus on personalized, predictive, and preventive healthcare.
Leveraging Dassault Systèmes’ cutting-edge technology and LIU’s health sciences expertise, this partnership aims to create a “medicine 4.0” ecosystem. Here, digital tools, artificial intelligence, and 3D modeling will come together to deliver a new era of medical innovation centered around the patient.
Transforming healthcare with digital twins and advanced data analytics
Through this strategic alliance, AKDITAL seeks to position itself as a model of excellence, demonstrating best practices in health technology across Morocco. The project will utilize Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which has applications in everything from designing “digital twins” of organs to sophisticated biomedical data analysis, helping to personalize and enhance treatments and therapies for patients.
The first phase of the partnership will focus on transferring knowledge between LIU and AKDITAL, with Dassault Systèmes providing technological support. This phase will include training Moroccan healthcare teams in the latest advances in digital health engineering, laying the groundwork for future large-scale applications in AKDITAL’s hospitals and clinics.
