Atacadão, part of the LabelVie Group, continues its ambitious regional expansion with the grand opening of its latest store in Nador. Following the recent inauguration of its Kelaât Sraghna location on October 31, this new outlet becomes the 18th in Atacadão’s rapidly growing network across Morocco.

Located in the Nador region, the project involved a substantial investment of 90 million dirhams. The store spans an impressive total area of 18,600 m², featuring a 3,700 m² sales floor and a 1,200 m² storage area. With a total store footprint of 6,000 m², the site also boasts a spacious outdoor parking lot with 170 spaces. The construction, completed in just six months, has generated 120 direct jobs and 80 indirect jobs, giving the local economy a welcome boost.

The inauguration event was graced by notable figures, including the Pasha of Selouane, Naoual Benamar, the General Director of LabelVie Group, and Hicham Yacobi, Deputy General Director of Atacadão. They were joined by an array of local dignitaries and prominent guests, underscoring the significance of this milestone for the region.

In his speech, Hicham Yacobi emphasized the brand’s commitment: “At Atacadão, we are dedicated to offering the best prices wherever we establish ourselves, benefiting both local professionals and individual consumers. Our model ensures competitive prices in remote regions without passing on additional logistics costs. This allows us to provide a wide range of quality products, strengthen local purchasing power, and actively combat inflation.”

Atacadão’s success in Morocco stems from its innovative “cash & carry” model, which caters to both professionals and individual consumers. The new Nador store allows customers to choose between shopping carts for daily purchases or pallets for bulk buying, offering flexibility that meets the needs of all shoppers. Prices remain consistent with those in major cities like Casablanca and Rabat-Salé, ensuring affordability despite logistical challenges. This strategy reinforces Atacadão’s mission to support local purchasing power and mitigate inflationary pressures.

With this latest opening, Atacadão reaffirms its commitment to expanding its presence in underserved regions. By emphasizing proximity, accessibility, and competitive pricing, the brand aims to deliver quality products at affordable rates to customers across Morocco.
