Buildings and Logistic Services (BLS), a key player in Morocco’s integrated logistics sector and a subsidiary of H&S Invest Holding, has taken a monumental step forward with the unveiling of its ultramodern logistics platform, BLS CASA HUB. Located in Sidi Hajjaj, Mediouna province, this groundbreaking project marks a new chapter for both the company and the nation’s logistics industry.
Representing a substantial investment of 300 million dirhams, BLS CASA HUB underscores the company’s ambition to meet the growing demand for innovative logistics solutions while solidifying its position as a market leader in Morocco.
This cutting-edge hub is expected to generate significant economic benefits for the region. It has already created 150 direct jobs at its launch and aims to provide 300 indirect jobs in the future. The platform not only boosts local socio-economic development but also addresses the rising demand for modern, efficient logistics infrastructure in the country.
Spanning an expansive 51,500 square meters, the facility includes 37,000 square meters of buildings designed to meet rigorous international standards. The hub boasts 55 loading docks, a towering height of 17.5 meters, and a spacious 45-meter-wide maneuvering area, ensuring optimal operational efficiency. With a storage capacity of up to 59,000 pallets, BLS CASA HUB positions itself as a pivotal player in Morocco’s logistics landscape.
BLS CASA HUB’s innovation goes beyond infrastructure, placing sustainability at its core. As Reda Quermane, Deputy Managing Director of BLS, explains, the facility reflects a comprehensive strategy to minimize the company’s environmental footprint. The site is equipped with solar panels that generate up to 50% of its energy needs, demonstrating a firm commitment to renewable energy. Additionally, an advanced rainwater harvesting and treatment system has been implemented to recycle water for irrigating the landscaped areas that surround the hub.
