Aya Gold & Silver has reported a breakthrough in its exploration efforts at the Boumadine deposit in eastern Morocco, unveiling the most impressive drill results ever recorded at the site. The standout discovery includes a 15-meter intercept with an average silver equivalent grade of 2,323 grams per tonne—a new record for the project. Within that same section, a narrower 8.7-meter interval yielded an even more striking grade of over 3,850 g/t.

These exceptional results further solidify Boumadine’s role as a key asset in the Canadian company’s portfolio. The latest drilling confirms continuous mineralization stretching across more than five kilometers, with several high-potential zones lying outside the area currently covered by the preliminary economic assessment. This suggests that the site’s total resource estimate may soon be revised upward.

Another notable drill hole, labeled BOU-DD25-623, revealed a previously underexplored parallel structure. This zone extends for 47.3 meters and delivered an average grade of 540 g/t AgEq, with peak values exceeding 1,280 g/t. The find opens new possibilities for expanding the project southward, indicating that the resource base may be far from fully defined.

Aya Gold & Silver’s President, Benoit La Salle, called the results a clear confirmation of the deposit’s significant potential. He emphasized that the combination of record grades and the discovery of new mineralized structures reinforces Boumadine’s status as a world-class asset with substantial growth ahead.

Following an aggressive campaign that saw 133,000 meters drilled across 487 holes in 2025 alone, the company is preparing to accelerate its pace. Starting in 2026, it will launch a two-year, 360,000-meter infill drilling program using up to sixteen drill rigs—underscoring its confidence in Boumadine’s long-term prospects.
