A groundbreaking initiative has just been launched in Casablanca, marking a new chapter in Morocco’s digital landscape. IDEO Factory, a leading name in digital learning, has unveiled CyberAware, the country’s first fully Moroccan online academy focused on behavioral cybersecurity.
Designed by local experts, CyberAware addresses a growing and often overlooked challenge: integrating digital vigilance into everyday professional routines. Unlike traditional cybersecurity programs that emphasize technical defenses, this platform zeroes in on human behavior—based on the idea that user mistakes remain one of the biggest weaknesses in an organization’s security chain.
Built and hosted in Morocco, the platform targets a broad spectrum of industries, from government institutions and financial services to healthcare, media, and manufacturing. It offers a flexible learning experience tailored to individual users. Upon their first login, each participant undergoes an assessment, allowing the system to customize their training journey. What follows is a mix of bite-sized lessons, real-world scenarios, and periodic refreshers—all designed to reinforce good habits, from spotting phishing scams to handling sensitive data securely.
Fully compliant with Moroccan data protection regulations, including Law 09-08, CyberAware easily integrates into internal systems across organizations. It also features a dynamic dashboard designed for HR and IT departments to track engagement, identify persistent weaknesses, and monitor overall progress in real time.
To boost in-house adoption, every launch is supported by a communication kit tailored to each organization. The goal isn’t just short-term awareness; it’s the long-term development of a cybersecurity culture that becomes second nature.
“Morocco now has the talent and resources to define its own cybersecurity standards,” says Oussama Esmili, CEO of IDEO Factory. “With CyberAware, we’re introducing a local, scalable, and measurable solution that’s deeply aligned with our professional realities.”
The platform is available in three tiers—Essential, Standard, and Premium—allowing companies to choose based on their specific needs and budgets. Pilot programs and live demos are already in the pipeline to ease onboarding and support rollout strategies.
Through CyberAware, IDEO Factory aims to set a new national benchmark for digital trust, grounded in education, shared responsibility, and smart digital habits.
