People across Morocco will soon be able to collect and send Aramex parcels while paying bills or making money transfers at their local Damane Cash branch. Damane Cash has teamed up with logistics company Aramex to offer parcel pickup and drop-off services at its 5,000 service points across the country.

The companies said the move will turn Damane Cash branches into one-stop shops, where customers can use financial services and manage parcels in one visit.

They said the partnership is based on the idea that local branches and digital services work better together. The goal is to make everyday services easier to access in neighbourhoods across Morocco.

The first stage of the project focuses on parcel collection and delivery. Later, the two companies plan to introduce more digital payment options for shipping services, reducing the need for cash.

The partnership is the latest step in Damane Cash’s push to expand its digital business.

Earlier this year, the company launched Damane Payment, a new service for businesses that accept electronic payments.

It includes payment terminals for shops, online payment gateways, mobile payment solutions and SoftPOS technology, which lets small businesses accept card payments using a smartphone instead of a payment terminal.

At GITEX Africa 2026, Damane Cash also signed a partnership with Chinese technology company ZTE to upgrade its digital services.

The project will use artificial intelligence and cloud technology to speed up transactions, improve security, analyse customer spending and develop credit scoring for microloans. It will also help the company’s systems handle busy periods more efficiently.

In another recent development, Morocco’s General Directorate of Information Systems Security authorised Eurafric Information, the technology arm of Bank of Africa, to give Damane Cash the role of a Qualified Electronic Certificate Registration Authority.

This means Damane Cash branches can verify customers’ identities for secure electronic signatures and other digital transactions.
