Starting this Friday, October 25, a direct flight will connect Marrakech to New York, marking a historic milestone in strengthening ties between Morocco and the United States. Moroccan Ambassador to Washington, Youssef Amrani, took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the new route, highlighting that it “strengthens our connections and opens new horizons for travel and cultural exchange.”

This new flight is the result of a partnership between the Moroccan National Tourist Office and United Airlines, which will operate the route with Boeing 767-300 aircraft. These planes will offer 167 seats across three classes: Polaris, Premium Plus Business, and Premium Economy. The service will include three weekly flights, scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

With this launch, United Airlines becomes the first American carrier to offer direct flights to North Africa, creating exciting new opportunities for both tourism and business between the two regions.
