German aerospace supplier Masterflex to open factory in Morocco

German industrial group Masterflex is taking a major step forward with the launch of a new manufacturing site in Morocco, slated to open in 2026. Spanning 4,000 square meters, the facility will extend the company’s existing production capabilities in Germany and the Czech Republic, focusing on high-performance components for the aerospace industry.

Through its subsidiary Matzen & Timm, Masterflex specializes in the production of intricate parts such as technical hoses, bellows, and molded components. The upcoming Casablanca site is expected to create at least 65 skilled jobs, further boosting Morocco’s growing reputation as a hub for aerospace manufacturing.

Located in the MidParc industrial zone, the new plant is part of a broader strategy aimed at optimizing logistics and moving closer to key customers. The choice of Casablanca was no accident—the region already hosts a dense ecosystem of aerospace players, providing the ideal conditions for such an investment.

Airbus, one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers, has long seen Morocco as a strategic link in its global supply chain. Every Airbus aircraft includes components machined locally, a testament to the country’s growing importance in the sector. Wouter Van Wersch, Executive Vice President for International at Airbus, recently reaffirmed Morocco’s vital role, describing the country as “key” to the group’s international strategy.

While development and certification of Masterflex’s products will remain based in Germany, the Moroccan facility will adhere to the same high standards applied across its European sites. This move not only reflects the country’s industrial maturity but also cements Morocco’s standing as a critical node in the global aerospace landscape.
