A major investment move is taking shape in Morocco’s hospitality sector. According to multiple sources, including a notification from the Moroccan Competition Council, Darnick Associates Limited and Strategic Investment Company GmbH (SIC) are set to acquire joint control of Jasmin Morocco Hospitality SAS. Each company will take a 50% stake in the firm’s capital and voting rights, marking a significant step in Morocco’s tourism and hotel industry.

This acquisition aligns with a broader trend of market consolidation in the hospitality sector, aiming to accelerate the development of tourism assets across the country. Based in Casablanca, Jasmin Morocco Hospitality SAS specializes in the construction, acquisition, and management of hotel properties, positioning itself as a key player in Morocco’s growing tourism infrastructure.

Darnick Associates Limited, registered in the British Virgin Islands, is an investment firm owned by Lutz Strangemann, primarily focused on real estate development and management. Strategic Investment Company GmbH, founded by Kai-Uwe Hollweg in Germany, operates in wholesale trade and distribution, with a particular focus on construction and plumbing-related services.

While the deal is still pending regulatory approvals, it is expected to strengthen investment in Morocco’s hospitality sector, paving the way for expansion and new tourism development opportunities in the country.
