Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of public policies, Mohcine Jazouli held on Thursday in Rabat talks with the Resident Coordinator of the United Nations System in Morocco, Sylvia Ekra-Lopez

The meeting was also attended by the resident representative of the UN program in Morocco, Edward A. Christow, the representative of the UN Women multi-country office in Morocco, Leila Rhiwi, and the deputy representative of UNICEF Morocco, Naseem Awl, the ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, Jazouli discussed with the delegation the strategic missions of the ministry in line with the High Orientations of HM King Mohammed VI, the statement added.

The meeting was also an opportunity to examine different cooperation options for the support of public policies coherence and convergence before the drafting of the new 2023-2027 Cooperation Framework between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United Nations system.

It also reviewed the status of the implementation of the joint program to support the Harmonisation and Evaluation of Public Policies (HEPP) conducted in partnership with four UN agencies, namely the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), UNICEF, UN-Women, and the World Health Organisation (WHO) for the 2017-2021 period.
