Amidst the rapidly changing retail landscape, Marjane Holding is embracing innovation to ensure the quality and freshness of its products. The group has unveiled plans for a major logistics platform dedicated to fresh goods, with an investment of 100 million dirhams.

Located in Casablanca, near the existing Sapino logistics warehouse, this new facility aims to revolutionize the supply chain for fresh products. Fruits, vegetables, red meats, poultry, and fish will be transported directly from production zones to the platform, which is equipped with next-generation refrigeration technology.

Each product category will benefit from specialized storage zones with precise temperature controls, managed by an advanced inventory system. The hub will also house workshops for tasks such as meat cutting, offal preparation, and creating ready-to-eat products.

One of the platform’s primary goals is to supply Marjane’s diverse store formats, including the growing network of Marjane City convenience stores. These outlets will receive freshly prepared and packaged products, ensuring that customers enjoy top-tier quality every day.

The platform’s design will allow for resource pooling and streamlined delivery routes. Fleet upgrades, such as dual-temperature trucks, will facilitate the transport of fresh goods across the country, reaching even the most distant locations like Tangier, Laâyoune, and Guelmim.

Set to launch in February-March 2025, this ambitious project underscores Marjane Holding’s commitment to customer satisfaction and innovation. By enhancing logistics capabilities, the group aims to solidify its leadership in Morocco’s retail market while meeting the growing demand for fresh, high-quality products.
