Moroccan group Intelcia expands with new regional headquarters in Egypt

In Sheikh Zayed City, just outside Cairo, a brand-new regional hub has been unveiled — a clear signal that Intelcia is accelerating its international journey. On April 22, 2025, the Moroccan outsourcing and tech services giant officially opened its regional headquarters for the Middle East and English-speaking markets.

Intelcia’s expansion in Egypt is no longer a simple market entry. Since 2021, the moroccan group has created 1,300 jobs and now aims to grow its workforce to 4,000 by 2026, with two additional sites opening the same year. Egypt has become a strategic springboard for Intelcia’s global ambitions.

The new headquarters is more than just a regional office. It’s a high-performance multilingual operations center, designed to serve Gulf countries, Europe, and North America, thanks to Egypt’s optimal time zone and strong language capabilities. Services are delivered in seven languages, allowing Intelcia to offer continuous coverage without compromising employee work-life balance.

“Egypt has become a vital regional platform, thanks to its exceptional talent pool,” said Karim Bernoussi, co-founder and CEO of Intelcia, during the inauguration ceremony, attended by Dr. Amr Talaat, Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

While expanding geographically, Intelcia is also advancing on the tech front. Intelcia IT Solutions, the group’s digital arm, is developing a Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP) for Paragon, a French leader in omnichannel communications and outsourcing. This platform is part of France’s upcoming mandatory e-invoicing reform, and Intelcia is stepping up to deliver a tailored, compliant, and scalable solution.

This project underscores Intelcia’s shift beyond traditional BPO services. The group is now a strategic tech partner, co-developing solutions for global clients navigating digital transformation.

With over 40,000 employees across 17 countries, Intelcia continues to expand based on a simple yet powerful principle: grow fast, but stay grounded. Every new location is anchored in local talent, inclusive hiring, and a structure designed to evolve with client needs.

In Egypt, this approach is bearing fruit. The country is not only a growth engine, but also a testing ground for future innovations. Intelcia’s Cairo hub is now positioned as a regional and technological powerhouse, built to meet the demands of a global market.
