New board, new era: Maroc Telecom prepares for strategic shift

Maroc Telecom and Vodafone Business have officially signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at offering Moroccan enterprises a comprehensive portfolio of digital and connectivity solutions.

The partnership kicks off with a strong focus on two high-impact areas: smart cities and energy management — sectors where digital innovation can drive tangible progress and operational efficiency.

By combining Vodafone Business’s technological strength with Maroc Telecom’s local expertise, the partnership will provide Moroccan companies with access to advanced tools such as software-defined wide area networks (SD-WAN), private mobile networks, cloud hosting, and cybersecurity solutions.

These services will be fully customizable to meet specific business needs while complying with Moroccan regulatory requirements — a significant advantage for businesses of all sizes, from local SMEs to multinational players.

The collaboration aligns with Morocco’s national goal of becoming a leading digital hub in Africa by 2030. Vodafone, already present in eight African countries via its subsidiary Vodacom, reinforces its regional footprint. For Maroc Telecom, this marks a leap forward in supporting regional and international clients operating across various industries — logistics, manufacturing, retail, and public services.

The two companies will deliver a unified suite of managed services, easily deployable across multiple markets, helping businesses scale quickly and securely.

Beyond technology, the partnership ensures end-to-end customer support, from pre-sales advice and implementation to billing and ongoing management. This comprehensive approach is designed to simplify digital adoption and maximize return on investment for business clients.
