The Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) and the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) have signed a partnership agreement aimed at promoting Moroccan destinations among Spanish travelers. This 12-month agreement outlines a joint action plan focused on several strategic initiatives.

The collaboration will include awareness campaigns for travel professionals, educational trips for tourism agents, and targeted communication efforts. These initiatives will highlight Morocco’s cultural richness, diverse landscapes, and historical heritage, aiming to attract more Spanish visitors.

This agreement builds on an already positive trend, with over 900,000 Spanish tourists visiting Morocco in 2024, drawn by its imperial cities, beaches, and varied landscapes. The partnership between CEAV and ONMT seeks to strengthen this momentum by enhancing cooperation between the two countries and deepening tourism and cultural ties.

Alongside this agreement, the ONMT has also forged partnerships with other key players in the Spanish tourism sector, particularly during FITUR 2025, one of the world’s leading travel trade fairs. These collaborations aim to position Morocco as a top destination for Spanish travelers, while also promoting lesser-known regions and diversifying the country’s tourism offerings.
